Lee
has qualifications with the FA, FAW and SFA,
as well as being qualified in Coaching
Adults and also as a First Aider. Lee is
currently the Goalkeeper Coach for
Newcastle United
Womens FC
A goalkeeping fanatic, at a very
early age caught the goalkeeping bug,
obsessed with all things concerning keeping
the ball out of the net, Lee has studied
goalkeeping ever since.
Although never making it to professional
level, 20 years worth of experience playing
in goal at several different levels has
given Lee a excellent grounding and sound
knowledge of the art of goalkeeping. Along
with his playing experience, Lee also has
years of coaching experience behind him and
a with total obsession of the art of
goalkeeping he has found himself to be a
highly regarded and sought after Goalkeeping
Coach in the North East of England.
Lee's views are
"Goalkeepers need to coached as a specialist position
not thrown to one side as they once did. There are not
many, in fact a total lack of specialist goalkeeping
coaches at grassroots/junior level and I want that to
change that by coaching the art of goalkeeping and get
things back on track for goalkeeping coaching where it
should start."
